My next door neighbours told me about this cheese called Stinking Bishop, so we drove over to Manchester from Poulton le Fylde near Blackpool after emailing the shop to find out if they had it. As our neighbours have tried everywhere on the fylde coast to get it, they were over the moon to have it for Christmas. Thank you The Cheese Hamlet
After looking for a nice cheese shop to stock up for the bank holiday weekend, I found the Cheese Hamlet on Google and decided to give it a visit since it wasn't too far. It did NOT disappoint! Not only is there a huge range of cheeses and accompaniments, but the staff were so lovely and helpful too. I did not feel rushed at all while I browsed and the woman who served me was incredibly helpful and even recommended a delicious cheese. They know their stuff! Highly recommended...read full review

This place is my heavenly indulgence every year. The staff are always friendly and the cheese is INCREDIBLE! I am an absolute sucker for their selection and I am so so happy to convert my money into love handles via the medium of the hamlet.
