I was just passing and called in for a bag of chips, wasn't hungry enough for the works. £2.45 for chips was a bit more than I was expecting and although there were 3 people serving, 1 cook and 1 other it took 5+ minutes to get my food. The box, not bag, of chips was large and the chips were piping hot. They were just fantastic - cooked to perfection, best I have had in many years and well worth the wait. I recently had the opportunity to dine at Mother Hubbard's Fish and Chips, located just outside of Oldham town, and wanted to share my experience. One of the highlights of this establishment is the quality of their fish and chips. The fish had a crispy and flavorful battered coating, and the portions were generous. Always love getting a homemade cheese and onion pie ? ? and also the fish and chips portions are always generous too. Staff are welcoming and helpful and its nice having a sit in to eat your food too
