After a wander around the Coop museum next door, 7 of us went to The Baum for lunch. The conservatory was a great place to eat- a really pleasant place even though the sky was grey, the food choices were great. We enjoyed a mix of small dishes, salads and a portion of chips!6 had tea but I pushed the boat out and had a shandy! Great place and fantastic food, been going for years. Staff are always welcoming and good atmosphere.Please bring back the blackened chicken from the old menu and it would be good to be able to eat in the pub bit like we used to, rather than just the dining area.
