Invited to a birthday lunch at the Woodland Cafe. Now this is unlike most Cafe's as it is an annex of a "Medical Retreat" which throws up all sorts of images. Well put those ideas out of your head this place is "The business" If you are able to accept rustic and not bent of "fine dinning" you will be more than satisfied. Today we laid our Grandfather Roman to rest. He was a resident at the Willowsfor only a short time, however the last couple months he spent there were the best decision we'd made as a family with regards to my grandfather's care and his alzheimers. All of the staff from management to kitchen staff, cleaners to the night staff were fantastic and welcomed our family any time of day or night. The care, attention and love he received was exemplary. Another fabulous time here, the staff are so lovely and genuine, they show real care and concern going about their job. Always smiling, includes the chefs, who make fab food. Me and Mum had afternoon tea today and it was outstanding. Thankyou Debi xx
