Bought 2 platy fish (from different tanks) from here 2 weeks ago, had them for 6 days and they both died of swimbladder on the exact same time frame.Due to losing my other fish and dealing with cremation for her, I rang one week later and was told there was nothing they could do as it'd been over their 48 hour policy, they'd need to see the fish, and test my water which obviously now, we couldn't. They explained that this was 'all in a leaflet given to me at time of sale', which I did not receive or I wouldn't have waited a week. After acknowledging that I did not receive the leaflet with the policy, I was offered 2 replacement fish, which I declined and explained that I really do not want any more fish after the stress of what had happened during the last week.I more rang to let them know of the issue, thinking they might need to test some waters their end, but the standoff-ish tone of the call left me feeling even more unsupported and disregarded. I was also told that the 'only common denominator here is my fish tank', not theirs. I tested my water before, during, and after having these fish and all levels came out perfect. I am not new to fish keeping, but was spoken to as if it was my fault these poor fish came to me with swimbladder to begin with.I bought 2 male platys to breed one with my unwell fish at the advice of my vet (unabsorbed egg that needed fertilising), and I can't now help wondering now from reading other reviews if the platy fish bought from Oasis infected my original fish with something else.After already losing my original fish who I'd had for years, the last thing I needed was to watch 2 new fish die of swimbladder.Would steer clear of here if I ever wanted fish again.In response to the owners reply to this review, I couldn't have known about your policy to provide evidence of the deceased fish because you didn't give me one. I also don't think its unreasonable, I just didn't know.

Avoid this place at all costs. I visted Oasis recently to purchase 3 new fish to introduce to my well established tank with my other fish that I have had for years. I introduced the new fish, just as I should.Within days the new fish had infected the fish that I've had for years and killed them all.I strongly recommend that anyone thinking of visiting this shop thinks again and avoids it, especially if you already have fish.As I am unable to respond to your reply then I must say here. I contacted the shop by phone, explained the situation and was told, quite bluntly that as it was more than 7 day nothing could be done. I don't like to leave bad reviews but in this case you left me no option.
