Had a lovely meal here before a theatre show. The food was really tasty with good vegetarian options. What really made the experience exceptional was our server Lara who simply couldn't have been nicer. She was such a genuinely warm and sincere person and really is a credit to your team. Thank you for a wonderful time.
The Pier Eight restaurant is extremely well organised for dinner before the theatre. We booked for 5.30pm when the performance was due to start at 7pm. We had plenty of time for three courses (we had originally intended to have only two). It took away all the stress of going to a restaurant unconnected with the theatre and being unsure whether you would have to rush. Been to The Lowry a number of times, but this time decided to pre-book a 2-course pre-show dinner. It was a good choice. Foord was interesting and very good (eg Beetroot terrine to start) and there was a good choice of wines. Service wasa friendly and efficient, and we felt we had had a very relaxing start to our night at the theatre (although the play that followed was awful!!)
