I had the pleasure of dining at Stockport Fish and Chip shop, and it was an absolute delight! The food was of the highest quality, with the fish perfectly crispy and the chips wonderfully golden and fluffy. What truly made the experience special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owners, Toni and Maria. We stumbled upon this place for lunch. We ordered fish (£6) and small chips (£2.80). Friendly staff and we watched the boss dip the fish fillets into the batter for frying. At least the fish were freshly fried and not pre-fried and left aside to keep warm.I was very impressed with the fried fish. In my opinion, it was far better than the Tony's Chippy (used to be no.1 in Manchester) in Ancoats. The batter was crunchy but not greasy with a hint of paprika (I think). The fish...read full review

GORGEOUS food always. Owners are LOVELY & VERY FRIENDLY always interested in other family members (asking how they are) Very GENEROUS PROPORTIONS in my opinion BEST CHIPPY IN STOCKPORT. ???
