Especially like the rear garden overlooking the pond. Always worth a return visit.

What a great find. Very welcoming and friendly staff, dog friendly and very relaxed. We had an excellent Sunday roast beef. Really nice atmosphere, would highly recommend.

Wonderful to find a pub that encourages dogs, children and muddy boots and with such wonderful food as a standard.I ordered a burger with chips and I got 2 patties in the bun with lots of trimmings.I was warmly welcomed with my 2 small dogs. Perfect pub for me.Parking: The pub does not have a car park, it has a lakePark in the village centre and walk 5mins

Had this recommended, but out of the way for me and my friend. The atmosphere was really homely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. The only downside for us was the parking. Had to park in the village, which was really busy and not easy to find a spot. We also thought we’d have a little walk around the lake after dinner, but couldn’t access more than the garden, so not sure if there is a walk. Shame though. Would thoroughly recommend as a lovely country pub (including roaring fire).

What a little gem of a pub. The menu is great, the food is out of this world, and the staff were friendly and attentive.Lovely experience and will definitely be back again.

We visited for our work christmas party. The small dining room was absolutely perfect for this, so worth requesting if you're a larger party (8-10). The service was incredible, as was the food and drink selection. We were very well looked after. The staff went above and beyond that night, we'll definitely be returning.

Always a good vibe and always great staff doing a great job! It is our favourite local, book early for a table if you need it, but very often if they can get you in, they will ?Parking: Broad street, otherwise a 2 minute walk from the station car park.

We thoroughly enjoy our Sunday lunch last weekend. We chose various meals: roast chicken, wagyu beef and roasted pork loin - all served with vegetables - at £20 each, and the portions were large and very tasty! Also, the bread we were offered whilst waiting for our food was so gorgeous that we had to buy a loaf! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very warm and friendly. The deserts were tasty too! I would recommend the honeycomb ice cream with the shortbread biscuit on the side! The only negative thing I would mention would be the lack of parking. Obviously, there were no cars when this gorgeous pub was built in the 17th century, so you will need to find somewhere to park in Alresford High Street and walk down the road! That said, this wouldn't stop us from re-visiting this lovely pub should we find ourselves in Alresford again!
