Had this recommended, but out of the way for me and my friend. The atmosphere was really homely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. The only downside for us was the parking. Had to park in the village, which was really busy and not easy to find a spot. We also thought we’d have a little walk around the lake after dinner, but couldn’t access more than the garden, so not sure if there is a walk. Shame though. We visited for our work christmas party. The small dining room was absolutely perfect for this, so worth requesting if you're a larger party (8-10). The service was incredible, as was the food and drink selection. We were very well looked after. The staff went above and beyond that night, we'll definitely be returning.

Always a good vibe and always great staff doing a great job! It is our favourite local, book early for a table if you need it, but very often if they can get you in, they will ?Parking: Broad street, otherwise a 2 minute walk from the station car park.
