Had a family Sunday lunch, including haddock & chips, two chicken supremes and scampi and chips. All very good. Two desserts followed: knickerbocker glory and ice cream - again, good.Parking: Ample parking behind the pub
My husband and myself came for lunch on a Friday in August whilst on holiday in the local area. Large pub with gardens near a fairly busy road. Much quieter than expected and we had a good choice of seats in the garden in the sunshine. Was served drinks quickly at the bar by a helpful staff member. Given menus and ordered food. Food came out quickly and was very hot. I had a veggie burger & my husband fish & chips. Tasted great! Definitely no complaints from us. Would recommend.

Thank you so much for taking care of our rowdy table and making us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, the atmosphere so warm and friendly and the staff really make you feel like it's a home away from home. Amazing pub to bring the family, kid and dog-friendly, in a beautiful location. A must-visit if you are in the area.. Thank you Jolly Farmer!
