My fiancé and I had an incredible time at the BVI. Spent 4 nights and it was a delightful experience. Not only was the food and drink sublime, the service was incredible, and Tammy is a joy. Would give 10 stars if I could for the overall experience: A charming escape from life’s hustles and bustles.

Food & drinks: Consistently great food, with some excellent and unusual options for vegans.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Genuine effort by the staff to make us feel at home. The manager was especially welcoming and went out of her way to see to our needs. Look forward to our next visit!

Lovely Sunday roast but some people would think it’s a bit pricey.

Fabulous pub with clean, comfortable rooms, crisp white sheets, Fabulous ensuite shower with lots of hot water. Fresh milk for our room - tea/cafetiere/hot chocolate. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly with lots of parking. Highly recommended!

Had our Christmas Lunch here, setting was great and service good, only slight negative was on the food side where I had the Angus beef which felt like the cow hadn't had the best of everything, as meat was a bit tough.. Other than that everything thing else was great.

When we booked we were told there was disabled access. When we arrived this was not the case. No body offered to help us gain access. It was very poor.We also booked the large table in the room we were given this table. The food was very poor, it was quite cold and the roast beef was very fatty and chewy. Not good as quite expensive.Food & drinks: Very poor Sunday Roast.

This is a lovely place to stay. Nothing was to much trouble. One disappointment was the limited choice on the menus but this could of been the time of year.

A nice venue. Went for Sunday lunch. Roast potatoes were a bit hit and miss. Disappointing cheese platter for dessert a lot of money for a very small portion. Staff friendly and welcoming.
