Came in on a Monday night to a welcoming holiday greeting and personal attention that made us feel at home. Several specials in addition to the standard menu and we tried the salt &’pepper squid starter, Bere Mill Burger and Greek salad. Visited The Kings Arms for the first time since the new owners had taken over and what a transformation. The pub was clean and smelt fresh. It was busy for a Thursday evening and the fires were roaring. We all had food. I had the special chilli burger which was from The Bere Mill Butchers. Our second visit for Sunday lunch and definitely won't be our last. Really friendly pub with relaxed atmosphere, good beers and delicious food at a reasonable price. We had the locally sourced roast beef which was tender, full of flavour and served with perfectly cooked vegetables and delicious gravy. Large portions but vegetables are brought in a separate dish, so your plate isn't overloaded. Can't comment on puddings as we were too full. Looking forward to our next visit!
