Amazing big breakfast, served hot and very tasty. The bacon was the best I've ever had. All the staff were happy and friendly.

Always super friendly service. Great portion sizes and good food for the price. Nothing spectacular but everything you want from a little cafe. Good options for dietary requirements and nice coffee as well. We come here regularly when we do our shopping - it’s great for some people watching too!

I shop here often and luckily the staff and experience are usually good, however today while my dad was checking out at the self service tills, a staff member felt it was appropriate to repeatedly call him grandad/grandpa in a condescending way. He is visiting from Australia and therefore is not a regular to the store, he tried to pay with cash at the self service tills and the member of staff basically laughed at him saying he was old school and kept calling him grandad. When he made it clear that he didn’t appreciate it there was no apology, she simply walked away. Perhaps it would be beneficial to put staff through more customer service training if this is deemed an appropriate way to speak to customers.

I hope this finds its way to the right place but I just wanted to share some positive feedback for a colleague in your Andover store.
Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name and it didn’t say it on the reciept but perhaps you are able to trace her through the transaction details:

Numbers on the bottom reciept (I presume are store number, colleague number etc) 2030 094 2460 9117.
Anyway, she was just the nicest person regardless of her job and I left feeling so reassured. I visited late in the evening after a horrendous 48hrs of teething for my 6 month old. As a first time mum I felt totally overwhelmed by the change in my always happy little boy. He was distraught, off his food, just miserable!
I was so stressed I burst into tears at the pharmacy counter when I started asking for advice.
She was so kind and understanding. Took me over to the side and spent time going through some top teething tips and offered reassurance and found me a suitable treatment to ease his symptoms.
She was so genuine and empathetic and I’m truly thankful for her help.
I really hope you are able to trace her from the details given and pass this feedback on to her managers so she can gain the recognition she deserves.

Lady who served us most kind offered scrambled eggs as I cudn't eat properly due to 2 teeth extracted! I gave her a hug was soo grateful as they had been very busy indeed and only option was toasted sandwiches which my daughter had. Wish i had noted her name badge so I could name her. I really thought how kind her and the kitchen were but especially her ?

19/09/22. Had coffee today at The Cafe which I do every now and then, and the coffee is not bad, but today, both my husband and I left our coffee as it was undrinkable. It was not their usual coffee. Has The Cafe changed their coffee, or was there something wrong with the coffee machine. Our coffee was very weak like tea, no coffee taste but a hint of fish. Could someone please advise.
