I shop here often and luckily the staff and experience are usually good, however today while my dad was checking out at the self service tills, a staff member felt it was appropriate to repeatedly call him grandad/grandpa in a condescending way. He is visiting from Australia and therefore is not a regular to the store, he tried to pay with cash at the self service tills and the member of staff basically laughed at him saying he was old school and kept calling him grandad. Lady who served us most kind offered scrambled eggs as I cudn't eat properly due to 2 teeth extracted! I gave her a hug was soo grateful as they had been very busy indeed and only option was toasted sandwiches which my daughter had. Wish i had noted her name badge so I could name her. I really thought how kind her and the kitchen were but especially her ?
