“Had Sunday lunch as this pub with family to celebrate daughter’s 21st. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Food superb. Nice Sunday lunch menu with variety of options in Addition to a traditional toast. Our four roasts and two fish were delicious. Pub was very busy but this did not effect the service we received. Only slight issue was size of table for six of us, it was snug, however it did not spoil the enjoyment of our lunch. Will revisit.”

“A very nice pub offering decent food - the Halloumi sticks in particular were lovely! It’s dog friendly inside too so that was a massive plus for us!The only issue is that it quite often smells of smoke in the bar area as customers smoke right outside of the door. Perhaps a smoking area away from the doors would be good.”

“Found this place from a Google search. So glad we did. Booked a meal for 2 online nice and easy. Excellent choice of menu so much choice! I chose braised beef and my partner chose the lamb, beautifully presented and the taste was worthy of Michelin star rating. If we didn't live 2.5hrs away we would visit on a weekly basis. The cost of the meals, desert and bottle of wine reasonably priced. Staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. We are staying 1 mile down the road and have visited this place 3 times now! If you live in or around Dummer please use it, I'd hate to see this place close.”
