“We had an amazing waitress Lily, she was very helpful with explaining the menu due to a shortage of food, as they had run out of alot of food & drink due to not having deliveries.”

“Good food and dog friendly. Staff made a point of getting a water bowl out for our dogs and coming to say hi”

“I last popped into this pub in 2002, and having moved away haven't had the chance to return since, so it was more out of nostalgia that I popped in at the weekend having found myself in the area, and it's still as nice ( much more modern since I last went) as I always remember it. The lady behind the bar was really friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers on tap and just a decent atmosphere. It's great to see proper local pubs with some history like this still going.”

“Very quaint country pub located off the beaten track, but definitely worth a visit. Went for a working lunch mid week so it was very quiet.
Food was delicious, and many home-made dishes. I had the duck and plumbing sausages, and they were full of flavour. Portions were generous and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Would like to return when it's busier for the atmosphere.”
