Came here for breakfast today with the family. Very busy place , be sure to book. Staff were very pleasant. The young man looking after the buffet was excellent, run off his feet and still smiling. With kids eat free it worked out at £3.5 per guest. You simply cannot find a better deal. We will certainly be back.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: There seemed to be ample space for wheelchairs

We visited mid week at lunchtime, large empty restaurant. Waitress seemed pleasant and attempted to provide a good service.Food was very basic just edible. When it came to paying the bill staff seemed to have disappeared. Bill paid eventually.I certainly won’t be going back to The Spruce Goose

Venue has a friendly family atmosphere. The food is good and the staff are very helpful ?Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and quite often interacted with when appropriate.

I don’t know if the general standard of Beefeater restaurant’s have declined but in my opinion was the better quality between them and Harvester.I could have got better food and service from a Hungry Horse. The restaurant looks dirty and dated and service was very slow.

7oz gammon steak and chips was a very good meal for one, as was the smothered chicken. Service was good given how busy the restaurant was. A bit noisy, but then it was Saturday evening. Over all, good value for money.

Been here twice, food is great but the service and how lovely the staff are really shines through. Incredibly rare to get, well done all!

We had breakfast, the mushrooms were like rubber, bacon all dried up, eggs broken, tomatoes cooked to a pulp, hash browns and black pudding falling apart but sausages were ok! As for the continental side of things, the fruit looked unappetising, the toaster did nothing first time round then burnt it on the second pass. One coffee machine wasn't enough as there was quite a queue, fruit juice and coffee at least tasted good though. All in all pretty awful, a total waste of £20 as we left most of the food. If I had to go back I'd just have coffee!

Popped in for a "quick" drink on a Friday night before going over to the bowling alley. The bar has one person serving even though the place looked like every seat in the house was occupied. There was a queue for the bar that took between 20-30 minutes to be served. There was limited seating for the number of people that wanted to be seated. We chose to leave after some of our group had ONE drink as getting drinks was taking soo long.Parking: Parking is OK. And you could easily park in the leisure park parking and walk across if needed.
