Great pub for drinks, fantastic service, food caters for children as well as adults, the stuff are amazing big thank You to Emma the lovely bar lady and the manger sue for the great service all the regulars are very polite and make you feel welcome will definitely be visiting again who would want meow a great little pub with great food and fantastic employees who just make you feel welcome and are very helpful thank you so much the Royal Oak

A simply wonderful atmosphere, the juke box was absolutely dazzling, brilliant choice of music playing full volume all night long!I arrived to the Royal Oak promptly at 8pm.Wasn't sure which pub to visit whilst in Basingstoke, but I met some lively young lads who were playing a friendly game of darts.I ordered a pint of Guinness and was delighted to see it had been poured with the shape of a clover. Perfect temperature, I can just tell it was executed by the bar staff with care, precision and attention to detail.I had a lovely chat with a couple of young lads at the bar, think their names were Joshua and Lewis, fantastic sense of humour they really made my night!Before I knew it, last orders were called and the bell was rung. I will be back again next time I'm visiting my ex wife and daughter in Basingstoke. I had a jolly good night. Hope to see you all again soon!

Waited over a hour for cold food, when asked if everything was okay, I said no and their response was oh !!
