A simply wonderful atmosphere, the juke box was absolutely dazzling, brilliant choice of music playing full volume all night long!I arrived to the Royal Oak promptly at 8pm.Wasn't sure which pub to visit whilst in Basingstoke, but I met some lively young lads who were playing a friendly game of darts.I ordered a pint of Guinness and was delighted to see it had been poured with the shape of a clover. Took visitors from Lincoln and other friends out for a drink, Great service, good Value a nice friendly Pub. My son & I visit at Least once a week. Great Pub 5 stars for device and Friendliness

Great pub for drinks, fantastic service, food caters for children as well as adults, the stuff are amazing big thank You to Emma the lovely bar lady and the manger sue for the great service all the regulars are very polite and make you feel welcome will definitely be visiting again who would want meow a great little pub with great food and fantastic employees who just make you feel welcome and are very helpful thank you so much the Royal Oak
