The positives are that the staff are friendly, reasonably priced food & they do their best with allergens.Negatives are food Luke warm, not much meat & strange after taste.Dietary restrictions: Appear to do their best to support customers with allergies

We’ve only ever ordered takeaway from this branch since the pandemic and last night was the first time we decided to dine in at the behest of a 4yr old ?However, he burst out crying (softly) on hearing there’s a wait so we decided to go elsewhere as he was very hungry. The staff absolutely wasted no time in trying their best to find a table for us.Rest of the evening was spent on some delicious food and impeccable service during such busy peak hours.Special mentions - Steve, Hemant and Crystal, however every staff member was on the best foot forward that day and I haven’t seen tht in a long time!Only reason I knocked off 2 stars for food is that main course portion size isn’t very good value for money!

AWFUL MEAL! We were sat down and rushed to a table with no smile or greeting. We then ordered our food. Mine came out then my friends came out but was covered in everything she asked to be taken off and had prawns instead of tofu . She then got it taken back and had a new one . This second one had a HUGE BLACK HAIR. Wrapped around the noodle. They took it back again and made her a new one. The manager told me “these things happen , there’s not much more we can do” - wow what a reply from the manager after finding hair in your dinner after waiting for 40 minutes for a dish. Won’t be coming here again ! Looking forward to hearing what you have to say about this Wagamama ….

I ordered salmon teriyaki with soba noodles. It was presented well but tasteless, salmon fillet was so dry, it was inedible! My friends ordered chicken ramen and the soup tasted like salty water - desperately needed some good seasoning. Will avoid this place in future.

Busy Friday evening at Wagamama yet we were welcomed with a smile and got a table quickly. The food was excellent, hot and served quickly. 3 mains, 3 starters and 3 drinks £73. The staff was very helpful although they were very busy.

Absolutely delicious food! Wish they has better drinks menu but it's not a big deal. Very welcoming atmosphere really enjoyed our time there.

We were seated so quickly on a busy Saturday night. Food was piping hot and delicious. Vlad was excellent, he made the whole family feel comfortable and welcome. He was professional and understanding all the way through. What a great asset he is to the Wagamamas team in Basingstoke. We'll definately be coming again to that specific site. Great Job Basingstoke team.Parking: Parked in the multistorey

Just spent £50+ through deliveroo and our ramens turned up stodgy and over cooked with the bao buns, empty with the meat sat in the box and only enough filling for one. Been going to the Basingstoke branch since I was a kid. This meal has put me off a little! Worst Wagamama ever, avoid the take away if you want edible food.

The service is impeccable, even when it's busy.As a regular customer, the staff are friendly andalways try their best to welcome you. The hygiene is good, and the food is delicious. There is a range of meals to select from, all being related to the Japanese origin. I like coming back here to see familiar faces that always have served me well.Special thanks to all the staff,Including Chhabi.

Craving a hearty meal after skipping breakfast and lunch, I ordered the chicken teriyaki soba, expecting a sweet and flavorful dish. However, the teriyaki sauce was neither sweet nor sour, and instead packed an intense spicy punch. As I swirled the oddly textured, rubbery noodles, I discovered bits of scotch bonnet pepper lurking within, explaining the excessive heat that unfortunately was not indicated on the menu. On top of the unwelcome spice level, both the chicken and noodles suffered from dryness despite the sauce, with the meat lacking proper marination. The redeeming factor lay in the usual perfect roti that accompanied the meal, but the teriyaki soba itself proved a letdown. Next time, I’ll stick to my standard go-to, the amai katsu, to avoid getting burned by false advertising on the spice factor or stomaching overcooked noodles. This offering missed the mark for my preferences and fell short of expectations.

Wagamama have been updating their menu and we live it. You must try the Bang Bang c'flower and the prawn nori rolls. I had the beef brisket ramen which was a tour de force. Staff are very welcoming.

4⭐Good FoodGood ServiceGood Atmosphere.Needs more pictures on the menu!➕ Fried squid was excellent, but not what I'd imagined.➖ Fried Gyoza were a bit dry, and lacking the 'freshness' of other dishes.? Disappointingly expensive Saki, but good Asahi
