I enjoyed my visit and the lemon drizzle cake was lovely and a very big slice! A fair amount of seating indoors and outdoors but I can imagine it gets quite busy in the summer! The dropped star occurs because the coffee was very weak and seemed to be improperly prepared with coffee grounds being left at the bottom of the drink.I look forward to returning again soon & hopefully upping to 5 stars ?

Will worth a visit. Large pots of tea and slices of cake. Tasty lunches. I'd recommend the soup with crusty bread. Dogs welcome inside and out.

Very popular place going by the amount of people there I had a slice of raspberry and lemon cake oh it was so tasty

A great and welcoming cafe. Spent 3 hours there, catching up with a friend. Coffee, pancakes with bacon, another coffee, and a slice of lemon drizzle. Yummy! ?

Looked up on Google and Insta for a cafe near our winter walk in the forest today. Very glad we found you. Excellent coffee and the choc covered shortbread is so... so good. We all really enjoyed our visit and the staff were very friendly. Our little one said "it's the best babyccino in the world" ? So well done you! We'll be back again sometime hopefully soon

I visited in December just before Christmas whilst we were in the local area. Really friendly and welcoming service - we were served by Maddy I believe? - and lovely coffee. Our waitress was very smiley and accommodating, we would definitely come back!

One star for service not received! We walked in today at 1435 to be met with " sorry we are closing at 3 " . We explained that we only wanted a coffee and a hot chocolate and would that be possible? The reply was " no sorry".This, in our opinion, is not a welcoming cafe. 31st December 2023.Maybe revise customer service for the New Year? We will not return nor could we recommend.

We had the swirl and Victoria sponge cake, both was really delicious! We also had the after eight and carmel hot chocolate, both quite nice and flavoursome. The atmosphere was cute and we got the view of the sheep grazing. The only thing is when we went they didn't have any soup or vegetarian sandwiches available.

Called for a light lunch and chose the vegetable chowder along with a bowl of chips - both excellent and generous potions too. Orders are placed at the till once you have got your table number. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

Lovely setting but not a great experience. Full English was ok if small. Strangely you could not swap to poached eggs even though they were available on 3 other options. They were too busy to swap apparently. The butternut squash hash on its own would have scored 1 star. The only thing that appeared properly cooked was the sausage. Everything else seems to have missed the oven/pan Nobody came to ask if everything was ok and there were people waiting for the table so were unable to discuss Disappointed

Well, I thought this may have been a garden centre. There were a few plants outside and a farm shop ?and a place you could buy stuff inside a glass framed green house i think thats what you would call it we went and had a cooked breakfast it was very nice ? would seem a very popular place to eat cyclists all seem to stop and refuel and lunch time tables were reserved.
