Lymington Rd, BrockenhurstFood was superb, I had the venison pizza which was delicious, partner had pasta and was apparently just as good (didnt share so am assuming so). Service let it down a little, very slow considering the low volume of punters in at that point, and took 20 minutes to get the bill even though three staff were present...which then came out wrong and had to be corrected. Suggestion: put your mobiles down and concentrate on your paying customers.

Sway Rd, BrockenhurstWe visited here whilst staying locally and had an enjoyable evening.
From start to finish it was great with no complaints. There was a good menu choice and the service was brilliant. We chose the soup - Broccoli and Stilton and prawn linguine to start with. Followed by fish cakes and the mushroom and beef stroganoff. We finished with the cheese board. Everything was delicious and can highly recommend. We plan to return as soon as possible.

10 Brookley Rd, BrockenhurstLovely cosy little pub with extensive beer garden. Came for food this evening and it was delicious. Hubby had the curry and I had a risotto and the kitchen also did some veggies for our baby. All three of us went home with full tummies and smiles on our faces.

Station Approach, BrockenhurstAmazing restaurant, food and service. Will definitely be returning. Lovely little restaurant opposite the brockenhurst train station. Massimo was a fantastic host made us feel very welcome.

26 Lyndhurst Rd, BrockenhurstHas to be one of the best Thai restaurant we have ever been too and we have tried a lot. Staff where very friendly and kept the wine glasses full. We went for a set meal and portion size was very good can’t say we left feeling hungry at all. All the dishes tasted so good Will be returning next time we are in the New Forest. Well worth a visit if your in the area and food is also a reasonable price.
Revested in 2026 and was just as good of not better. Well worth a visit if your passing.

3 Middle Rd, Sway, LymingtonBusy cafe on a Saturday morning. Polite staff. Vegan options are available. Beans on toast. Or warm vegan sandwich. The filling options were mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach and bubble and squeak. Substantial filling. Same price as their proudly high welfare meat options. So classic markup issues with vegan options. Hence only a four star rating. Coffee was fine. Specials labelling could be better.

The Bakehouse
45 Brookley Rd, BrockenhurstThe bakehouse has a good selection of buns doughnuts and hot pies. They are fresh everyday and well worth grabbing if your staying locally and out and about.
It's a busy little place and the staff are quick to serve you. During peak times there must be a que to get in but but we didn't wait long to be severed
Hope they continue. Nice little place.

DYNASTY INDIAN
57-59 Brookley Rd, BrockenhurstStaying nearby so ordered an Indian takeaway online with designated collection time. Ordering process was easy, with a clear discernible menu. Received an email confirmation once completed ordered and turned up 5 mins before time. Staff were very friendly and food was ready straight away. The quality of the food was exceptional, with very generous portions provided for the two of us. Would highly recommend a visit for anyone nearby.

30 Brookley Rd, BrockenhurstStaying in the area for 2 days, happened to try this Fish bar. Absolutely lovely. Batter and cod cooked to perfection and good chips, decent size portion, decent price too. Friendly people too. Wish it was closer to home

Has a couple of comfy seating areas which are a good place to relax.
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fab, a hidden gem.

Balmer Lawn Hotel, Lyndhurst Rd, BrockenhurstWe visited for a spa day. The spa seems to have been done recently, it was lovely, clean and quiet. We also had access to their indoor and outdoor pool. The jacuzzi is small and can only comfortably hold two people and there was two people hogging it all day so we never got to use that. However it was a warm day so we spent most of our day laying by the outside pool. They have a QR code you can use to order drinks to the pool which was handy, however it didn’t seem like anyone was working on it at the start of the day as it took 45 minutes to get a cup of tea and a pint of Pepsi. Also, I ordered a pot of tea but they don’t allow china by pool so I only got a paper cup of tea - felt a bit of a rip off at £4 for a small paper cup of tea. They started getting better at being on top of the QR orders as the day went on. We also ordered a pizza take away but after ordering they told us we couldn’t get it by the pool, even though other staff said we could so some confusion there. Apart from this we had a lovely visit and would highly recommend on a sunny day

Monty's Inn
Monty's Inn, Palace Ln, Beaulieu, BrockenhurstGood beer and an excellent wine menu make for a good start. The food was comforting and delicious; simple and wholesome but well executed. The staff were friendly and prompt. But be aware that their food service isn't all day - I think they only serve lunch until 1430 for instance and we only just arrived in time.
The decor was light and had the ceiling been higher I might even have called it airy, but something about the place felt bleak, and I don't think it was just because we were the only people in there.
