Enzee Brockenhurst Ristorante & Pizzeria

Food was excellent we all had mains and starters.. Service was good. An interesting and quirky interior as a conversion. My only criticism is it was expensive but would go back.

Lovely place, great food and price meet the expectations with quality, we've spent a birthday dinner there once and since then we always go there for other friends birthdays, staff welcoming and polite, very clean placeParking: There is a parking lot but if you ever find it full, there's lot of parking on roadKid-friendliness: They have high chairs and paper and crayon for little ones

White Tails Restaurant

We have recently stayed at the Cottage Lodge Hotel and decided to have a meal at the White Tails. Our host, Ramsay was a kind man and really went out of his way to make our evening very enjoyable. The food was superb, my wife & I both had the steak, cooked perfectly! The cheeseboard was well thought through and we liked the fact that the produce was locally sourced. Thank you for a great evening, we will be back when we visit the area again.

Pallets Tea and Coffee House

Visited pallets today for a coffee with my son. He was very impressed with the rocky road cake and loved his hot chocolate. My oat milk latte was delicious. But the best part of the visit was being served by Jess who is so friendly and loving, my son really enjoyed talking with her and she made our day!Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives availableKid-friendliness: Loads of kids games to play!

Britannia Thai

Extremely good food. The green curry was absolutely delicious. Hygiene was excellent and the service efficient, gentle and polite. Graceful people providing probably the best Thai food I've had and a most reasonable price. If you are looking to dine out in this area, have no hesitation about eating here. Highly recommended ❤️

Foresters Arms

We had a great Sunday lunch here. Lamb, beef and vegetarian roasts were tasty, hot and good sized portions. Little extras like the stuffing and extra gravy if required made all the difference and we will definitely return.Parking: No parking but we luckily found street parking on a quiet February lunchtime.

The Bakehouse

THE best doughnuts ever! A fantastic array of sweet and savoury baked goods that people travel to from all over the Forest and beyond. Friendly and welcoming staff make the trip even more pleasant. A MUST try if you're in the area, or just nearby!Vegetarian options: All cakes are vegetarian and a good choice available for hot savoury optionsParking: Usually free on street parking as customers only spend short amount of time in the village

DYNASTY INDIAN

On a walk through Brockenhurst we came upon this restaurant. It looked good, the menu plentiful so a table was booked, online, for the following evening.We arrived earlier than expected but this didn't worry the staff. They just found us a different table.The food was great, very tasty and the restaurant was full of what were clearly returning customers, always a good sign.Everyone was treated attentively but not overbearingly and it's definitely on the return visit list.

The Daisy Tea Garden

I enjoyed my visit and the lemon drizzle cake was lovely and a very big slice! A fair amount of seating indoors and outdoors but I can imagine it gets quite busy in the summer!The dropped star occurs because the coffee was very weak and seemed to be improperly prepared with coffee grounds being left at the bottom of the drink.I look forward to returning again soon & hopefully upping to 5 stars ?

Stopped by as I was passing and what a lovely little cafe! I only had scrambled eggs on toast with a coffee.. very well presented and cooked to perfection.\\nFriendly staff too.

Zen Garden Restaurant

Wow! What a fabulous meal with staff that are amazing! The beef pan yang was out of this world! The best Thai food I ever tasted in ages! The satay chicken starter was amazing with such lovely flavours too! Definitely recommend 5*

The Forest Deli Sway

Came here due to good reviews and as very local to where we were staying. It did not disappoint. We both had the full English. Gorgeous fresh produce and tasted amazing. The white on my egg was not cooked but within minutes after asking for another, a perfect one was brought over with very friendly service. A nice touch of homemade bubble & squeak and homemade beans. The sausage, bacon, sourdough and the butter I’m still salivating about the next day!!Coffees vey nice too. Would definitely recommend and would look forward to eating here again.5*

Rainbow Fish Bar

We are SO lucky to live in Brockenhurst and have the Rainbow Fish Bar at the other end of Sway Road to where we live. Every time we go, the quality of the food, especially the fish and chips is excellent. Always freshly cooked, hot and the best quality of fish. Overall it is a great takeway experience which the whole family enjoy. If you like other things they do a great range of pies, sausages and other things as well as sauces pickles and drinks. Quite excellent and definitely worth travelling for!

Commoners

Delightful atmospheric bar/restaurant. Great choice of food, served hot and good size meals. Enjoyable video playing about local New Forest (no sound) adds to feeling of the place and yet lovely talking point. Service friendly, efficient and well delivered. Environment is quirky, clean, modern. Love this place and would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Reasonable choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters.

I loved the restaurant and the vibes the moment I walked in…Sorry literally did a photo video dump of what I had and experience whilst at the Spa retreat as a small bday treat to myself. Such a beautiful restaurant and lovely staff. If you come in via the hotel entrance it was the most wonderful immersion before the wonderfully delicious food!The Emmental Choix Buns were recommended when I gave them the few amuse bouche that I wanted to try. They were delicious! (If you like and can eat cheese).I then went for the lobster soup which was very flavoursome. Wasn’t sure what I was meant to do with the mayo but as you can see from the photos… I did my usual thing of experimenting… I trusted the mix of flavours presented to me and put them together. I’m a believer that when there’s all sorts on a plate, you should try eating all flavours together to taste or for that course.I was pretty much set on main until I got to the restaurant but I decided to go for (Marle?) their fish option which was perfectly cooked.To finish, I had a yummy liquid dessert which was similar to a Sauternes but even better as it was slightly less sweet.If you stay at Carey’s I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, their spa and other restaurants. The staff throughout the hotel were also lovely and friendly from reception to the lovely staff who prepped our room and the bar staff (even when tenet were busy).

Balmer Lawn Hotel & Saltus Spa | Brockenhurst | New Forest

I booked in here with my partner for a 2 day mid week break.First impressions of the Hotel from the outside are really positive. They have a covered area outside which has a lovely mix of wood and white lights, with heaters, it has a very nice feel to it.On entering the hotel, there is a small reception area and a beautiful staircase. On the occasion we visited, there was a massive, beautiful Christmas tree stetching up the well of the staircase. The atmosphere is cosy, warm and welcoming.The room was outstanding. We had a suite with a lounge area and a four-poster bed. It was immaculately clean, and the bed was genuinely one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The bathroom was awesome with a very big, deep bath and a beautiful walk-in shower. There were modern high end tv's in both the bedroom and the lounge area. It could do with a little updating, with respect to the decor or fittings and fixtures (excluding the bathroom) but it does not, in any way, detract from the room itself.We had dinner in the restaurant. I had the panchetta soufle and the filet stake accompanied with a bottle of red. It was one of the best meals I've had. The soufle was stunning and the steak cooked to perfection.The pool and gym area are well kept and tidy, there are a few things like wiping the pvc windows or repairing some of the tiling, which would only add to the ambience.The thing that set all of this apart from other 4 star, 2 rosette hotels, is the service. All of the staff, and I genuinely mean all of them, have been friendly, kind, courteous and the whole time. Absolutely first class service.I would highly recommend this hotel spa.Safety: All the rooms have key card access, and there's always a member of staff availableFood & drinks: Small but lovely and accommodating bar with a great selection of drinks. The restaurant is first class.Noteworthy details: The service is second to none

Great staff, lovely rooms & pub. Sweet little touches ie treats in the bar for dogs, a little sausage served with breakfast for dogs, spare wellies, dog poo bin (I’ve stayed in places where your wondering around with dog waste as no bin supplied)Breakfast was delicious, we had dinner there too which was nice. Rooms were clean & had all we needed plus a delicious welcome cookie ?. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed some lovely walks. We hope to return.Thank you

An incredibly quaint hotel in a gorgeous town. Greeted with kindness and hospitality, treated to a small but excellently made menu of food. A perfrct place for a date or a meal on a nice sunny day. Truly a wonderful place to go!

Terrace Cafe

The food was cooked to perfection. I wish I had taken photos but honestly I ate it too fast to think about that. I've eaten a lot of full English breakfasts over the years and this was easily close to the top of the list. I also had a billionaires shortbread and it was also amazing, a bit sickly, but I would expect nothing less. The older couple that served me were very accommodating and friendly. Although there was nothing wrong with the atmosphere at all, it didn't feel right giving 5 stars in comparison to how brilliant the food, and pleasant the service was. Not in the area often, but will have to come more often now when if just for the food here.

Good place and ordered some cream tea and food . Just love this place and reasonable in prices . Good for quick meal and bit cold inside due to old structure so make sure you wear warm clothing in winter . Dog friendly place as well in the garden in summer . Amazing sandwiches and baguettes.Parking: Opposite lane has a car park and can park there and walk across .
