We went to the Rising Sun for dinner this weekend. Haven't been for a few months, but, once again , food was great. We had burgers, beef Wellington and pork, plus starters and dessert....all 3 courses were lovely....plates were wiped clean! Service was great as well....young lady served us and was polite and friendly . The manager checked everything was OK with us at the end of the evening as well.
Good location, parking,ambient atmosphere. Friendly & helpful staff. Good selection on menu. Food always presented very well and absolutely delicious. Fully recommend & we will keep this as one of our firm favourites to come back to. Thank you ?

Go to this pub regularly. Not the most fantastic restaurant but a great local and food served well and always good and staff very friendly and locals too.Nearby activities: Village is nested at bottom of South Downs. Great for walking South Downs and if your visiting you must go up top of Butser Hill, great 360 views. Car park takes you almost to top with great views even if you don't want to walk!
