Great chips, friendly staff, could do with a bit of tidy up though....

My usual chippy in Emsworth was closed so tried here. I won’t use this place again. The chips were soggy and the fish was dry, probably overcooked, also there was a huge bone in one of the fish. Altogether a very disappointing and rather unpleasant experience

Food was served quickly and was hot. The atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly. Food was good value for money.

Been using Whistlers for years but sadly that’s the last time. Your standards are going down. The last twice the quality of the fish has been poor, this time worse than last! Fish was very dry. Either overcooked or been left in the heater for too long or both! Either way it was pretty nasty. Used to be the best chippie around but sadly is now probably the worst!

This fish and chip shop has very friendly staff and and everything is cooked with care and perfection and so freshly cooked and taste excellent. I have been here three times now and have enjoyed it very much and looks forward to going back for more well done all staff there ?

Went on a Saturday so got our food with a good time.It was a big order 7 people about £75.Got it home and unfortunately the batter on all the fish was very soggy, most of it got stuck to the papper.Burgers I were told good but low quality buns.Chips were nice.I was looking forward to visiting as I had heard vert good things about Whistler's, but that was not the case. They are looking for a lot of staff atm so that could be a issue.
The worst fish and chips we have eaten. Everything was over cooked, chewy and dry. I can’t understand how chips could turn out so badly. Such a shame we had high hopes. I think it may have either been re-cooked or perhaps old oil used.
