This is a locals pub with very friendly, helpful service accommodated 10 of us on a Saturday evening without any problem. Good food, reasonable prices and a great feel to the pub made it a winner.
I feel compelled to reply to the review left by Jez Cole.He’d already spoken to me abruptly in the garden , before he’d ordered his food , which I let go and thought it was because of 1664 !All I asked was for him to put a mask on when coming inside (which was law at the time ) , he then demanded I supply him with one ! Had a very hearty Sunday Roast with Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes and a side of cooked veg. Absolutely zero room left for dessert. The owner was very accommodating to us with our toddler. Visited the area with extended family.
