Bar • “Absolutely delicious!!! We tried the Sunday roasts (one turkey one sirloin beef) and they were both so so good. Meat was soft and tasty, as all the other ingredients.Quality was great for very reasonable prices, staff was lovely and we got our food so quickly. We also got garlic bread which was very good and fresh. I highly suggest the place, loved everything about it and definitely will go back!! Such nice atmosphere.”
Bar • “Food as always was lovely and service was great, my only criticism is the small bread rolls I used to like so much are ALWAYS stale, which is a shame, they must be left out of the freezer to defrost and that's it yuk, stale as hell”

Bar • “Waited nearly a hour. When the food arrived it was very disappointing. Frozen roast potatoes fatty lamb (which was described that would be slightly red).Cost 14.99 had to pay extra for cauliflower cheese. Drinks ordered was wrong. Service was excellent didn't get her ”

Bar • “Stayed here from Fri 10- Sun 12th Nov 2023 and it was just right for what I needed. The single room was clean, with enough space to unpack a suitcase on the floor and a good price. The staff were friendly and helpful. When I realised I had left my phone charger at home, they were able to supply me with a plug. I had bed and breakfast. The breakfast was ample with a mixture of continental and cooked choice.The rooms were not very sound proof but luckily it wasn't too noisy. The shower had power and all facilities were adequate.Would definitely do a short stay here again. Thank you Red Lion staff - a very happy customer :)”
Bar • “Came to Harvester Whitely for breakfast. We were served by Laura who was excellent. She came straight across with the menus and got us a coffee whilst we chose food. Breakfast was delicious, the largest one which was HUGE if your up to the challenge. We couldn't fault the service which I think makes the visit much better. Well done Laura and the rest of the team.”
Bar • “The only problem with this restaurant was it’s too far away from me. I live nr Manchester and was visiting family hence the visit. I’m no Chinese cuisine connoisseur but I do frequent Chinatown in Manchester and La Orient was some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. From the dim sum starter including their special prawn balls, to the ribs and the crispy duck, everything was quality.Every main dish including prawn kung po to the crispy chilli beef was polished off by all of us, and best of all, it’s owned and run by a lovely family who are warm and hospitable. Can’t fault it, 5* throughout and the only complaint is I’m too far away to enjoy it more often!”
“Really lovely dinner here. Antonio was very welcoming and gave an excellent service. The atmosphere was good.Had 3 course set menu and all the dishes were excellent. Presented beautifully and really delicious! Would definitely recommend this place! Will be going back to try the tapas at some point!”
