Arranged a celebration of life (wake) here. The team exceeded our expectations regarding the quality, quantity and variety of the buffet. The Red Lion Team provided an excellent service and were most kind and helpful. So appreciated - thank you

We had a lovely lunch. Roast beef with all the trimming. The pudding was disappointing Eton Mess Sundae. Had no ice cream. A sundae would always have ice-cream in my experience. We were told by a member of staff that it was in a sundae glass. Therefore it's a sundae and there would be no ice cream. £7 for half a sundae glass with merangue, a few strawberries and a bit of cream.

Phoned on the day to reserve a table for 3 adults. Donna took the reservation & when we arrived the table reserved was in a lovely spot (table 2). I couldn’t fault anything, the welcome, the drinks& the lovely food Donna the chef served. We have already reserved for a future return & would highly recommend to anyone considering booking or visiting the restaurant. I would give a 10/10 rating if possible.
