My wife and I went to the Miner's Arms with a couple of friends for Sunday Lunch. The Roast dinners we had were delicious and the service, considering the barmaid/waitress was working on her own and it was fairly busy, was excellent. There was a nice homely atmosphere in the pub as well making us want to return again at a later date. Highly recommendable.

We are not familiar with this area, but came across this pub and stopped for lunch. The pub was warm and cosy and the menu looked good. The food was really good, with a generous selection of vegetables. I recommend the homemade pie, it was delicious.

Excellent roast (Me and my sister in- law had the roast chicken, brother pork). Wife had the scampi which she loved. All good size portions and nice food. Very friendly staff.

Found pub on Trip Advisor as wanted to have a decent meal before our overnight ferry crossing. The meals were delicious and prices were reasonable.

When foreigners complain that English food is bland, they obviously haven't tried it properly cooked as it is at the Miner's Arms. I may have had better liver and onions during my 68 years on this planet but I very much doubt it.

We ate in the bar as had a dog. Fish and chips were scrummy and dog made very welcome.Parking: Small carpark

Lovely local pub, great pint of HSB!!
Food looks good, beer is very good. Very clean, and friendly. Will be back
Dog friendly, okay beers on tap, no premium lagers or craft ales but there is something for everyone. Great to sit outside on a hot sunny day
Went with friends for a lunchtime meal and drink. Thoroughly recommend it. Meals were very tasty, large portions and at a great price.
