When foreigners complain that English food is bland, they obviously haven't tried it properly cooked as it is at the Miner's Arms. I may have had better liver and onions during my 68 years on this planet but I very much doubt it.
Lovely quaint pub that served great food!Attentive staff and a good pint on cask (HSB)!Would like to see the menu on the Facebook page (was told the site is a Fullers page so perhaps harder to update regularly).Shared whitebait for starter and had Mac & Cheese with Bacon and Bacon/Stilton burger!Will come again for more of the same good food! ?

We are not familiar with this area, but came across this pub and stopped for lunch. The pub was warm and cosy and the menu looked good. The food was really good, with a generous selection of vegetables. I recommend the homemade pie, it was delicious.
