Coffee was nice, food was cold, menu print was hard to read, could hear other people saying they struggled to read the menu.one of the waitresses black jacket was covered in stains, not something you want to see when you have ordered food .Staff pleasant enough.

I can’t comment on the food or drink since we didn’t get to sample it. Notified staff that we wanted to sit outside and enquired about whether we needed to come inside to order. Was told they would come and take our order when they got round to it. 15 minutes later we gave up waiting and went elsewhere.

Popped in here after a long walk for a warm drink. As someone who is dairy-free, I was pleasantly surprised to have the rare opportunity of choice, since they offered dairy-free milk alternatives.I chose to have a hot chocolate which was lovely although scolding hot as first. Atmosphere in the place was lovely, staff kind and friendly, and quiet music playing with dim lighting.Only marked down due to the fact that my drink was so warm, I could not drink it for five minutes and maybe the menu could’ve been priced down a little bit! Would still highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: They offered many dairy-free milk options such as Oat, Soya, and Coconut.

We have been here several times before when it was Lily's and the Old Teahouse and it was a lovely, informal cafe with great service and food. Today was our 1st visit for breakfast since new management has taken over and we were disappointed. When we arrived, the staff were dressed in black suits like funeral directors. None of the previous, friendly staff seem to still be there. We were taken upstairs but they have made table space where the toilets used to be and we were sat there. It was cold and whenever people came up there was a draught. There were lots of artificial flowers on the wall and ceiling, not sure about that. I am vegetarian and there was no vegetarian or indeed vegan breakfast on the menu, so I had to ask. They said they would have to ask the chef! They said I could have the meat breakfast with vegan sausage. There was also bacon on the meat breakfast so I asked if I could have baked beans instead as a swap which I was told would be OK. The prices have been put up as well. The service was very slow for the food and it wasn't busy. The food was OK when it did arrive but my fried eggs were solid, not runny.I went to the toilets and was shocked to find only one small ladies one, no hand dryer and paper towels were on the floor next to the bin!! I told staff and they said that the towels should have been on the ledge, but this was next to the toilet! My husband told me the gents was the same! I have added two photo of the ladies and one of the gents. We spoke to the staff about this, they were two young girls, who were very pleasant but also admitted that there had been lots of comments that it wasn't as good as it used to be. I said I was shocked about the lack of cooked vegetarian and vegan options and how it was a lot more expensive. When we got the bill I was charged an extra £2 for the beans! I did argue this and it was adjusted. We felt sorry for the staff, especially as it used to be so good. We feel that the management need to review their menu and the ambience.Vegetarian options: No vegetarian or vegan cooked breakfast on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: It's an old building with steps to the entrance, I don't think it is accessible

Wickham tea room has always been a winner; friendly atmosphere, good food and great service…… until new management took it over. Our visit today was awful. We arrived to staff who didn’t acknowledge us, put us on a table which was dirty, dressed like they were going to a funeral and in a room that was cold and lacked any sort of tea room charm. The whole place seemed to be aimed at driving membership of Quob rather than delivery an experience for those there. The waitress did not even look at us when taking our order preferring to be at a fixed terminal and ask us for our drinks with her back to us!What a shame - a great little tea rooms ruined. Suffice to say - we won’t be back and shan’t be recommending any of Quob locations any time soon.

We came for an afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious! The sandwiches & wraps were filled generously, amazing cheese straws, two scones each with the jam and cream, macaroons, mini trifle and then a big slice of cake. There was so much food, we took our cake home for later! We also had coffee to go with it and that was delicious too. The staff were friendly and the tea room was cozy and clean. We will DEFINITELY be returning! ?

Post Parkrun breakfast - whilst a small/little 'full English', it was ok. Poached egg cooked just right and definitely a good choice with sourdough toast. Nice spot to people watch over Wickham square ?

Very disappointed. I was expecting a cosy tearoom with warmth and charm. Unfortunately atmosphere was cold and waitress was rude. We changed our minds about ordered food and just had pot of tea. I wished had looked around Wickham for cafés first as there are plenty to choose from. Will not be returning.

It did not represent value for money. As we entered a large cake was on the floor. Portion sizes extremely small coupled with very slow service paired for one of the worst breakfast experiences i have had. “Full” breakfast consisted of a slice of bacon, a sausage, beans and a slice of toast.
