We had a lovely family roast for 6 adults and 3 children. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. They were flexible with meal selections. Service was prompt for both food and drinks. We had a lovely experience. Thank you to the team.

Super yummy food, not just "pub grub" at all! Had lovely lamb rumb and pork loin (amongst other super starters and pudding) well worth a visit and we will definitely come again, thank you. ????

Attended the recent Winter Fest, January 2024. Good selection of beers brought in for the Beer Fest, spent the evening outside in the wooden cabins, lovely evening. Can’t comment on the food personally as only there for the beer but my two mates each had one of the pies being served that night, adjudged as very good.

We had a family lunch here, for 14. The service was really good and the whole team worked well together, nothing was too much trouble. There were a good choice of roast dinners which were excellent, one of our group had fish and chips and another had the veggie wellington, both enjoyed their meals. Chocolate cheesecake looked the best overall dessert with the figs coming second and bread/butter pudding third. Xmas pudding was a little disappointing. Although they were busy, we had great attention and there didn't appear to be any issues or stress. Highly recommended and great value for money.

6 of us for Christmas lunch … including 1 gluten free . Food was delicious , generous and piping hot , gluten free alternatives provided with no fuss . Lots of little extras , included in the basic price , and our waitress (Rosie ) was lovely . It was quiet ( we ate at 12-30 on a Tuesday) , but would strongly recommend . Our best pre Christmas lunch venue for years ! Thankyou .Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options readily available

Lovely meal from the Christmas menu. Well cooked and presented. Attentive and quick service. Particular thanks for the effort they went to to source gluten free Christmas pudding and mince pies. I'm sure we'll be back.
