Had good meals here in the past but the Christmas meal we had on Saturday was absolute Lyn overpriced and rubbish the potatoes were not roasted properly mine had black eyes in them. The sprouts were like bullets and there was a lack of gravy also not a lot of veg for three people. Even after the lovely waitress replaced my husbands meal for another it came back basically the same very dissapointed will not be going again .

We had a family lunch here, for 14. The service was really good and the whole team worked well together, nothing was too much trouble. There were a good choice of roast dinners which were excellent, one of our group had fish and chips and another had the veggie wellington, both enjoyed their meals. 6 of us for Christmas lunch … including 1 gluten free . Food was delicious , generous and piping hot , gluten free alternatives provided with no fuss . Lots of little extras , included in the basic price , and our waitress (Rosie ) was lovely . It was quiet ( we ate at 12-30 on a Tuesday) , but would strongly recommend . Our best pre Christmas lunch venue for years ! Thankyou .Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options readily available
