Had a great roast dinner, walking from dogmersfield along the canal to fleet, arrived without booking the staff surprisingly managed to find us a table,my roast beef was cooked to perfection with great flavour,ample fresh potato, parsnips broccoli cabbage carrots and large Yorkshire pudding,my wife had the nut roast which also was full of flavour, would have had the apple crumble and custard which looked great but couldn't fit it inVegetarian options: There was quite a few optionsParking:...read full review

Lovely local pub, should go more often. The menu has a great selection. Service is good and you never have to wait for anything.Dog friendly which is a bonus.Thanks for looking after us.

We’ve visited plenty of times but never left a review. This really is a great local pub. It offers everything you could want. The staff are always friendly, the service is attentive but relaxed. Dog’s are welcome in the bar with water and treats provided. A proper selection of real beer is on tap. The food is typical of a local family run pub… the sunday roasts are delicious with good portions and reasonable prices.
