Great evening spent at the Great Wall. It was very busy but food came out hot and quickly. Staff were very polite and attentive. Big variety of food and lots of vegetarian options as well. We will be back.

I love the food at the Great Wall. I've eaten there multiple times over the years. The food is always great, the service is quick and courteous. This time, I was with a group of 40 people and they made serving us look effortless. Hats off to all the staff. Thank you.Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian. The menu has vegetarian items in each section [starter, main etc] but not a huge number. This time there were no tufu dishes which I missed.Parking: It's a few hundred yards walk but there's free parking alongside Forton Road

They have the £25pp dinner all you can eat. The dishes were good but not as authentic as we wish for.

Incredible restaurant we visited in August 2023. They catered for us as a last minute booking and even though we were late, the food, service and value was incredible.The food was all fresh, all you can eat, but ordered to your table so it was outstanding. I ordered duck for one - it was HUGE! My friend was allergic to diary and VIRGINIA our server was so attentive, she even checked the oil the food was fried in in case in upset my friend’s stomach.You HAVE to visit here - it is incredible!

Went to celebrate our Anniversary with family. Food and service excellent and staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return soon.Parking: Free parking after 7 and 1 hour free before then in nearby car park

visited 10 of us . haven't been for years. After reading reviews was worried about going. It was an absolute delight. Staff were friendly happy and made us feel very welcome. Food was amazing come out quick. staff gave us the right size plates told us how much we would need and wasn't stingy just sensible. its very light now and clean since its got rid of the red upstairs. no complaints... please dont read peoples crap reviews. Had 2 kids that wont eat chinese still let them sit and eat a sunway as long as they didn't touch food... perfect evening xxx

We love The Great Wall. We can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. It’s a great all you can eat buffet. When you order it comes out piping hot and very quickly. They all work so hard, and the staff and restaurant owner are extremely attentive, and provide excellent service. If you want more starters you only have to ask. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off, the food is very very good!

We have just returned from another visit to this really good Chinese Restaurant. We have been many times and have never been disappointed. When we arrived today we found fresh decorations, the overall impression light and airy with white tablecloths and freshly covered chairs. The staff are welcoming and friendly and we had a window table. The service was excellent with drinks and food orders taken and delivered in short time. The starters were hot and delicious and as soon as we needed more they arrived again hot and fresh. We then ordered our main courses which also arrived in really good time considering the restaurant was very busy. It’s always a pleasure to eat in the Great Wall and we look to many more visits in the future. .
