Wow, was so impressed with the food. I had the Beef and Stilton pie it was amazing. My friends had the liver,bacon and mash and they gave it the thumbs up. My other friend had the sirloin steak and also thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back soon!
I was waiting for the Gosport Ferry and needed to catch up on some work emails and, as it was a Friday and I'd just had fish & chips, decided to pop into the Castle Tavern to do catch up and have a pint whilst I worked on my laptop. The young lady who served me, Alesha, couldn't have been more helpful, professional and polite. After I'd been served and sat down, I noticed my battery was low, but also that all the plug sockets had been blocked up with plug-in child protectors....read full review

Really close to the ferry terminal in Gosport. A quiet Sunday evening roast. Huge portions with plenty of al dente veg. Get the child/OAP portions if you don't want to roll out of there. I'd definitely go back.Vegetarian options: They had a nut roast and cauliflower cheese for veggies. I think there were other dishes too.
