Kicked out of our booked venue, so turned up here to complete our working day. Warm welcome and very accommodating considering there were 8 of us. Thank you ?

Really pleased to find a British cafe that puts a bit of effort into food presentation!! Simple modern decor, lots of light. Tasty brunch and coffee. Good service. Looking forward to coming back and trying the regular lunch menu.

What a lovely and friendly place to have a coffee or a meal, you access the courtyard by going through a corridor which takes you past an antique shop then into a small outdoor space with tables and chairs then into the cafe, the staff were very good and the coffee was one of the best coffees we have had, we will definitely go back when next in the area.

Lovely food and service. We were served by Kieran and it was genuinely one of the best attitudes and approaches I've seen from a server in a long time. His interactions with our 5yr old as well as us were spot on!

December2023 updateFirst proper day out after a bug wiped me out. A day of dark skies, coupled with the kind of rain that just wants you to be wet. So given the choice of a sausage roll in the car or somewhere warm and comfy...Chicken wrap was lovely. Really nice meat, still moist; coleslaw I think had a touch of yogurt and mint so the flavours were just right and balanced with the spice of the wrap. Chips tasted fresh, and again just right. Pleased a table was available! And we need to go back to sample the cakes!Original...Lovely delicious fresh cooked food, fab coffee. Perfect if you are not in a hurry. The lamb kofta was an upmarket and very yummy kebab, and the Asian chicken was a fab combination of textures and flavours. Although the coffee machine wasn't working the cafetiere coffee was smoky and delicious enough that it rolled like velvet over the whole of my tongue.

We stumbled across this hidden away gem. The food was 10/10 and the service friendly and very quick. We’d pop back in again ?

Well hidden but very nice when you get there. The breakfasts were lovely - high quality produce in generous portions, served well on hot plates. It did take quite a long time for breakfast to arrive - they could probably turn the tables over much more quickly. But for Sunday brunch we weren't too bothered. It is quite noisy.

Popped in for coffee and cake Sunday pm. Not much choice of cake so husband asked if they did toasted teacake to which young server said yes. Didn't think cake brilliant and husbands came as 2 slices of a fruit slab of something with butter, definitely not a teacake and he wasn't impressed eating it. We did mention paying that it was not teacake and young man just said he didn't know! Over £16 so won't return. Shame as lovely character set up
