I haven't been to this establishment since the change of owner and name.No complaints as the food was nice and the staff were very pleasant. Service was good but It did seem a bit cold when we first sat down. We soon acclimatised to it or it warmed up I'm not sure? The ambience was OK but nothing super outstanding and would probably benefit from a less busy decor. Still both couples were happy with our evening so we'll definitely consider booking again.

Quirky yet contemporary interior; large staircase in the middle leads to upstairs washrooms. Food was good, service good. Just not special. Parking spaces directly in front of resturant.

My brother just moved to the area so, first night we just ordered the exact same from both Taj and from Monsoon down the road. Chicken Tikka Masala, Rice, Onion Baji and Keema Naan.The Taj wins hands down and it wasn't even close. This seems to be a much more authentic Indian Curry than down the road which was the bright red Masala you see lots of places. Monsoon is decent enough but The Taj is different league for us. Highly recommend.The Taj is the one on the left in the photo. Proper looking, authentic Masala.

The very best Indian restaurant I have ever visited. Friendly professional staff and excellent menu. The restaurant has just been fully redecorate with new chairs and tables. A wonderful dining experience.

The Taj was packed on New Years Eve, which was a good sign. Some speciality dishes on the menu, plus all the old favourites. Really enjoyed my meal. Bottled Kingfisher beer. £32 per head. Cards accepted.

Very bad customer service. Took more than 40 minutes to serve the food. No one gave any attention to the eat in customers. However the food was okay. Food quality and quantity was fine. When it comes to the customer service; it’s horrible.Parking: We can hardly park 5-7 cars infront of the restaurant and we need to park on the off street if the slots are full.
