A beautiful old pub with excellent choice of drinks, some low prices. Food is good and not expensive. Staff are friendly and efficient. Nice buzzing atmosphere.Parking: The pub has a car park which is nice quite big enough. However, there's a free car park nearby.
Excellent service considering they were busy, ( good sign 3pm ) ,and just one behind the bar. Excellent sauvignon blanc, nice and cold. We ordered the burger with chips, halloumi, corn ? chips and onion rings. We paid a pound extra to double the burger, I challenge anyone to finish this meal in five minutes. Everything was tasty and well cooked. Overall, the pub was very clean , outdoor seating too with a big screen for the sports person, plenty of parking off road. Will be back...read full review
