Positives: They were open and had stock of both fish and chips. Fancied a portion of fish and chips tonight so dispatched hubby to Liphook (where in the past we’ve had a pretty good take away) Fish and Chip shop. So, it was convenient that a large portion of fish had already been cooked and available and ordered alongside a large portion of chips. 3rd time trying this takeaway, again not good, chips were cold, sure they were left from lunchtime. Asked for two fishcakes, was told they only had one, didn t offer to cook another one. This was about 5.30. won t be using again.

A welcome stop on a cold and rainy day. It's the Xmas holidays so fish choices limited but my small cod and standard chips were hot and tasty. I left Liphook in 1970 so a 52 year gap in visits?
