My recent visits to Bella Italian left me utterly disappointed. During my first visit with my family, we were delighted with the set menu and the affordable £5.00 bottomless drinks. However, my subsequent visit on a different day was marred by inconsistency and poor service.When my partner and I arrived, the manager explicitly stated they weren't accepting gift cards or vouchers that day. Despite complying, when we attempted to order as we had during the previous visit, the manager refused to honor the set menu and drinks promotion, causing frustration and confusion. This inconsistency in applying their own promotions was extremely disappointing and led to an unpleasant experience.Consistency is crucial for customer satisfaction, and the lack thereof during my recent visit was disheartening. I hope Bella Italian addresses these issues to ensure a more reliable and enjoyable experience for their patrons in the future

We booked as a group of 5 family members intending to use Tesco Clubcard vouchers but were told these were no longer accepted on Xmas Eve - this is despite the fact we’ve used them on Xmas Eve for well over a decade and there is nothing on the Bella website advising of this. Waiter also spilt soup on one of our group but no offer was made to apologise for this - such as a free drink or dessert

What an place for Italian dishes. Just Wowwww, I loved their Hot potato, Pizza and Dough Balls with Mozzarella. Personally I will NEVER order for delivery from this restaurant again.The chicken cacciatore was cold and congealed and mean. The garlic bread though in a large box was a pathetic couple of slices and also stone cold. Horrendous rip off.

Bella Italia is one of mine and my granddaughters favourite places to eat, but today it was a real let down. Firstly we received our drinks and they were flat the waitress re did them but came back practically the same. The food service was very slow we waited an hour (although it was practically empty) and when it arrived it was cold and it was left on the side for serval minutes before collected and brought to us. When our mains did come mine had a long black hair in it, see picture below. The two pasta dishes were delicious but this was just disappointing.

Lovely waitress. The place wasn't particularly busy.. but 1 hour wait to get undercooked pasta and dry pizzas. We used to love this place but the last 2 times have been disappointing. Menu prices are way too high to get tasteless pasta mixed with ready made sauces.

Bella used to be better than it is these days ....understaffed now one waitress covering the lunchtime is ridiculous! was told wouldn't be served outside with a pizza because not got time to bring food outside so could only get a coffee and then it didn't seem a popular request but we had our puppy with us so couldn't come in ....I've never known that you can't get any food outside with a drink ...there is no reason for this new rule other than the restaurant does not have adequate staff ...have always gone to Bella Hanover and top of town small Bella have had a family member work in both for many years and have had many good meals and occasions there....but wouldn't consider it now certainly has lost its appeal

Visited Bella Italia on Monday with a friend. The food was good and the staff were lovely and really looked after us, considering how busy the restaurant was with other customers. They were clearly understaffed but it was a positive experience either way. I recommend the chicken Milanese and will come back again!
Came here quite late on a Saturday lunchtime and the restaurant was quiet. The service wasn’t particularly attentive or friendly and had to wait ages to get someone’s attention for the bill at the end. The food was alright. Nothing to write home about. I didn’t like the Nacho-polis starter as it was very dry and tasteless. The pizza was also dry. Didn’t have the dessert I wanted, and the one I had as an alternative wasn’t very good either. It’s not some where I would rush back to.

The pizza was small and the crust was extremely thin. I also ordered the pasta. At first I was shocked by how small the portion was but then I realized I was glad that it was small because it tasted like cardboard. Also, I requested napkins and intensiva and did not receive any.

Main meal was okish. A microwave meal would be nicer.We had to wait ages for the desert, then one turn up before the other. My partner had time to finish hers before I got mine.It's not like it was busy. There was actually 3 couples in.The staff were standing around chatting.If the chef couldn't handle a few people. God help when it's busy.
