The Black Dog has become our go to “local”, even though it’s a short drive away. We enjoy the friendly atmosphere that the pub provides together with the superb food offerings. The menu is regularly updated with weekly specials. We own a dog and tend to eat in the bar area (dogs allowed). It’s important to us that our dog settles so as not to disturb other customers. It’s his favourite pub as well!! The staff are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you.

Solid pub food, warm and welcoming atmosphere, fantastic service.
It's a nice place for a drink and meal. Staff were friendly enough.It seemed a bit rushed to close up kitchen which was a shame and despite closing time showing as 11pm, they shut at 10pm which meant we had to leave earlier and were not able to have a drink after our meal.Food is decent, and reasonably priced.
