Had the most amazing lunch yesterday. The food was delicious and the service faultless, even the dogs were spoilt with treats and sausages! Highly recommend. We’ll definitely return!

Had a lovely meal we book the captains table which was perfect. Staff were very attentive. Only fault is one of or group was vegan and there wasn't a lot of choice maybe would be better to have a couple more options on the menu.

Visited friends who live in Hamble. Had a fabulous meal which was delicious. Pub was full of diners and the atmosphere was excellent. The server we had was delightful and her constant smile and attentiveness was very much appreciated. All in all a wonderful experience and we'll hopefully go again when we next visit. Highly recommend.

It was more than wonderful to have lunch in this place. Alexa, Norbert and their team are more than professionals and they're so so kind. They care a lot about the customer. Also the food was delicious and the place is so nice and cozy. I recommend it 100%.

We heard there was a new chef which was the main reason we went. We didn’t leave a little disappointed though unfortunately, mainly due to the very small portion sizes and there being no vegetables or sides at all with some meals despite the meal being £15-£18 each. One of us got the Hunters chicken which did not come with any sides and only had 5 small bits of chicken, for around £15 you would expect more than chicken and sauce. Pie of the day was really good but the size of the pie was tiny and hardly had any filling which was disappointing, also a small amount of mash potatoes and no vegetables…Desert was very good, actually got decent portions with that so that was a highlight.Overall it was good was overly expensive at £171 for 4 small portions and desert.

We're local residents of Hamble and been frequenting the Bugle for a few years so, attracted by their marketing of their New Year's Eve party as a "New Year's Eve Spectacular", an "unforgettable celebration", a "sparkling send off" for Yannick, the outgoing manager. We were promised a "sumptuous feast", "tunes that’ll move your feet, and laughter that’ll make the night complete".In reality, the night was a disaster. There was little atmosphere, friends at the next table had a stand up row with the manager over the poor food quality. There was no "spectacular celebration", and the only laughter was when we couldn't believe our bill. £800 for a table of 6. I raised a complaint but the MD was very defensive, claimed other customers had no complaints (we know this not to be true). I was even asked to suggest my own compensation for our poor experience. After spending literally thousands of pounds in the Bugle over the last few years, their NYE party failed to deliver in a big way. Plenty of choice in Hamble, we've struck the Bugle off our list until the time we see "under new management" on the door.

Great food, we had the seafood pasta and the burger - really delicious! Staff are friendly and fun and look after you. Dog friendly area, log fire, cosy and chilled out. I recommend!
