We booked the River Rat to host our wedding; a very relaxed affair of 25 people. The team went out of their way to make the day special for us, with attentive and considerate service to delicious food. We had drinks and Canapés in the garden (luckily the weather held out!); pork belly bites, rarebit, prawn bruschetta and the most phenomenal pickled melon and prosciutto. We attended here for our Christmas party . Excellant venue we were given a private room which held up to 20 Food was delicious staff very attentative overall an absolute wonderful night . This is our third time we have held our Christmas meal here.

We visited the River Rat last week for our works Christmas do and had an absolutely fantastic evening! The food was AMAZING and the service was excellent. We were a large party of 18 and were very well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and the staff could not have been lovelier! I would highyly recommend the River Rat and will definitely be returning in the future to enjoy the incredible food! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
