“There are very few pubs in Portsmouth that serve a good roast so I was pleasantly surprised after my visit to The Marmion. Homemade Yorkshire, roast potatoes and gravy (made the proper way) were all lovely as was the veg - everything tasted very fresh! I think I can say that I preferred it to the other place down the road. Slightly more than I usually pay, but I couldn't really find fault with anything - perhaps include stuffing? Parsnips? Although you won't go hungry as the portions were just right. Great service (am I right in saying that the place has been taken over?)”
