The decoration is interesting to look at but not headache-inducing. The food is always amazing, complemented by an extensive and unique selection of beers. It's worth noting that portion sizes are generous, so be cautious to avoid overordering.During our (second) visit, we went for the bitterballen as a starter to share. Fantastic cosy little bar that truly captures the spirit of Belgium. Immense choice of beers to suit all tastes, served promptly. The food is also right up there. We visited early on a Saturday. Early as in 5pm. If you are a slow eater, be warned that you will politely be on a timer, as tables are reserved for 2 hour slots for evening diners. We visited on a Tuesday night just before Christmas. I love this place, the decor is fun and retro, there if you want to look at it but not in your face. Food was just what was needed on a damp December evening and the beer selection good as always. Our waiters were friendly, responsive and relaxed.
