Pity the service doesn't match the great location, walked out after 15 minutes as we had no order taken, and it wasn't busy at all, staff were happier talking rather than serving.

Doors were open on a freezing cold day and the poor staff were wearing t-shirts. Sat for at least 30 mins before our order was taken, table was sticky and we had no drinks menu. Food came out ice cold and absolutely overpriced for what it was, cutlery was dirty and mismatched, wait staff unhelpful, was not impressed. For where it is and how it sells itself would have expected far nicer from beach cafe but is just awful.

The service was very slow it took almost an hour for our order to come! We ordered salmon, which came undercooked and pretty much raw! We had to ask to be returned and cooked more! We had to chase the waiter to pay as we waited half an hour when we finished with the food. The waiter didn't bother to come and check on us, and eventually, we had to chase her for our bill! We wouldn't come back at this place!

The chef makes an effort with the food from cooking to presentation. Coffee is the best long the Southsea seafront. The view couldn’t be better as it’s right on the beach. I really love this place!
