We hired Southsea beach cafe for a private celebration (wake). Oscar and all the staff were so accommodating. The chef made us a personal menu of an afternoon tea. Home made cakes brownies and the most delicious sandwiches. A delicious buffet we were very impressed with how much food there was. Compliments to the chef. Thank you. Very good quality food at a restaurant on the beach. Quite expensive but understandable considering the location.Service was just a tad slow but restaurant was very busy. Quite a lively atmosphere.

Open throughout the year, perfect location on the beach and food and coffee lovely. One half is dog-friendly. Large wood burners adds to the atmosphere (and warmth). Good selection of breakfasts.
