“We recently booked a table at Abbots Mitre for a large group Sunday lunch, and we were all so impressed from start to finish. The warm welcome on arrival set the tone for a fantastic experience.

One of the reasons we chose this pub was the variety on the menu, not everyone in our group enjoys a traditional roast, and Abbots Mitre offered something for everyone. Between us, we ordered a range of dishes, from classic roast beef to hearty pies and tasty fishcakes. Every single person commented on how delicious their meal was.

The service was outstanding throughout. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience so smooth. We especially appreciated that, at the end of the meal, they allowed each of us to go up to the bar and pay for our own food and drinks. It completely removed the usual awkwardness of splitting a large bill.

Overall, it was a wonderful Sunday lunch. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back!”

“What a lovely place. The food and reception was excellent. We had an actual problem, with my room, and all I will say is how well they looked after me and made sure I was looked after. Judge people on how they deal with things. I cannot speak more highly of these people. Decent folk running a lovely place. I will come back.”

“we stopped off her for lunch, and although the restaurant was full they found us a lovely table in the garden. we had fish and chips, and honestly it was as near perfect as you could hope for! not for those on a budget but definitely a must have for wonderful food and great service!”

“Its been 18 years since I was last at the 3 Cups so when I went in yesterday I was amazed. The pub is fabulous !!! the garden was lovely and the food was delicious.The portions are large so be warned. I had squid with sweet chlli sauce to start and that would have been enough. I also had the Caeser Salad which was top notch. It a place I will be revisiting for sure.”

“Nice pub with good drink and food options. We went on a Friday when they have a barbecue night. We didn't try any of the options from the main menu. Limited veggie options but there is some choice.

Nice outside garden with a play area for kids as well.”

“A little gem of an Inn situated in beautiful surroundings. You are made to feel extremely welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Sunday lunch (slow cooked belly pork, with veg and all the trimmings) was absolutely delicious!, along with some lovely wine and Guiness, to celebrate St. Patrick's day. We will definitely return along with some friends and family. Thanks to everyone.Parking: Lots of available spaces.”
