Birthday meal with my husband. Beautiful food - really tasty. 3 courses plus drinks just over 100£ for us both - great price. Atmosphere was cosy and the staff were really kind. Would 100% recommend and would definitely be back.
It's not much to look at from outside, but inside the decor is fresh and modern while still retaining some rural charm.The food is varied and high quality, without being stuffy. Normally quite fussy, we were tempted by several choices on the menu. My wife (a veggie) enjoyed a butternut squash Wellington, while I was in the mood for a burger, which turned out to be juicy and flavoursome, with crunchy chips.All in all, a rare gem that's worth venturing a little off the beaten track...read full review

Had an enjoyable break. Friendly staff. Lovely location.The thing why we would not return is there is no option for comfortable seating for residents in evenings. . It’s all restaurant tables and perhaps hardback chairs.Only one chair in room.
