Wonderful food, great wine. Dave and Mandy were excellent hosts. Will definitely be back next time we are in Stockbridge. Mandy took the time chat to us and recommend the wine. We enjoyed it so much we took two bottles home for Christmas.

Myself and my husband went for Sunday lunch. Welcoming and friendly. Staff were polite and we didn't wait long for drinks or our food. I had the pork belly roast and it was probably the best roast iv had. It wasn't to fatty, just the right amount of everything. It was delicious. I also went on to have the warm chocolate brownie and salted caramel ice-cream.... Again, I really enjoyed It. We can't wait to come back for more.

Went past this pub today with a friend and we both said it had been a long time since we had been in there so turned around and went in. Glad we did. Received a very warm and friendly welcome from staff and customers. Decor inside was very nice and it had a great ambience too. I had homemade vegan burger and fries and my mate had meaty sandwich, both meals went down well. I plan to go back very soon for a Sunday roast as they can accommodate vegans. xx

A little gem of an Inn situated in beautiful surroundings. You are made to feel extremely welcome as soon as you walk through the door. Sunday lunch (slow cooked belly pork, with veg and all the trimmings) was absolutely delicious!, along with some lovely wine and Guiness, to celebrate St. Patrick's day. We will definitely return along with some friends and family. Thanks to everyone.Parking: Lots of available spaces.

Had a delicious dinner here last night. The pub itself is really cute – all low ceilings, wooden beams, low lighting and lovely artwork on the walls. We shared two starters (the pig cheek fritters and the mackerel with wasabi, both were amazing). The mains – steak and fries and the cods loin with mussel chowder – were also great. The staff were sweet enough to bring us a plate of petit fours on the house as we'd booked for our anniversary which was a really nice touch. Perfect elevated gastropub food.

Went for lunch today with my cousin and we both thought it was fantastic!I live fairly locally and drive past this place all the time but have never been in until today, and now I'm not sure why I hadn't as it is so good I'll certainly be back! The food was absolutely delicious, all very fresh and an interesting but simple menu (and for a couple of foodies who make everything about the food, we were both delighted!).We shared some of the starters (the scotch egg, the asparagus and the fish cake, plus some yummy fries) and then shared a sticky toffee pudding which was so light I wish I'd ordered one all to myself!Despite trying to hunt one out they didn't have a peppermint tea for me, but were perfectly happy to oblige me with a pot of hot water so I could add my own from my handbag. We also really liked the crockery and the teapot/mug set.Lovely, friendly, unhurried but attentive service and a nice atmosphere, comfy seats and lovely and warm next to the radiator on a cold, wet day.All in all I can't fault the place and highly recommend it.Thanks for having us The George! We'll be back!

Thyme and Tides Deli, Stockbridge. My first venture into the Deli; it will not be my last. Not really knowing the place (I thought that it was just a restaurant), as I approached I noticed the Deli half of the premises and went in on the off-chance that they sold fresh fish. Yes, they did. I came away with two beautiful sides of smoked haddock. They were used that evening in our Cullen Skink. The meal was delicious, the smoked haddock sublime. Well done Thyme and Tides. Fabulous produce!

Fantastic Indian food. We went with some good friends for our annual catch up and were very, very impressed by the place. We were fairly loud, so were placed in an empty part of the restaurant which is fine, but the food and service were very good. Particular mention to the Chicken Dhansak and the Lamb Korai, which were superb, but everything was delicious. A little pricey, perhaps, but this is Stockbridge, but overall, a superb Indian restaurant. Try it.
